Smart & Final Extra will be the anchor grocery store for the new 76,000-square-foot Hollister Village Plaza shopping center when it opens in Goleta next year. The retail center development is part of the larger mixed-used Hollister Village project at Storke and Glen Annie roads, just off of Highway 101. The project also calls for a 266-unit apartment complex.
“We believe that Smart & Final Extra will be a great asset to the shopping core along Hollister Avenue and will enhance key shopping opportunities for the Goleta community,” Jud Dutrisac, chief operating officer of project developer Westar Associates said in a statement.
A Smart & Final Extra! will be the anchor grocery store for Goleta’s Hollister Village Plaza, set to open in early 2015. The still under-construction neighborhood shopping center announced the news this week, noting the revamped version of a Smart & Final store will occupy 24,757 square feet on the western side of Hollister Village Plaza, a mixed-used project at 7000 Hollister Ave. that includes 266 apartments.
